Now I have slot ported boxes for my 15's. I am wanting to seal off the port. Would I need to do it inside the port and the back or could I do it on top of the port? Like just cover it and seal it. Would that be ok? Didn't know if leaving the inside of the port open would make a difference as long as the outside of the port was sealed.
well it wouldnt realy matter what side of the port you block off but you know that normaly a sealed box for a speaker takes less air space than a ported box you could use cotton fill to take up some of the air space otherwise the driver just moght not produce what it is suposed to and sound like crap
