Hey,
Quick Q,,, a aftermarket alternator for my car is upwards of $200....
I can easily get another stock one for about $50, and together would surpass the HO alt...
How hard would it be to hook up 2 alternators to one engine?? If it can be done...? thanx..

Depends on your type of car and engine. Some aftermarket pulley manufacturers make dual alternator brackets, but it doesn't come cheap. Nearly every easy part like that you'll find is for a 350 Chevy. You can have one fabricated at a machine shop, but belt length would be changed. It's probably easier to just upgrade the alternator to a H.O. one. A 200 amp alternator should definately fit your needs, if you have a Honda you're S.O.L. because they only go up to 160 on one car, most are 120 or 140. Your only other option is to have one custom made.
