Building a box for my buddy for his 1 12" 9500. It will be going in a Ford F150 behind the drivers seat. Max dimensions are 14x15x20. I read on there site that recommended slot port is 12.5x2x27 5/16. With that in mind do you thin these dimensions will work: (internal) 12.5 x 15 x 18

off mtx website a ported enclosure for this sub is only 1.75 cu ft.. He has the mtx vented box that came with the sub and it fits but he has to ride on the wheel.. So we were goin to make a new one that was taller rather than wider. Would sealed and vented be that different with the sub right behind your head anyway?

heres a lil design that might help you out..not to sure if they are withing the max dimensions of your car.
and yes a vented box will have a DRASTIC difference from the sealed box although in the same spot, and it will be NOTICABLY louder.

instead of the the two 12" cutouts you would keep the cutout on the left.

2.5 cubes
40hz
44 sq inches of port..
