I dont think carpet even comes in that color anymore. Plus it is ugly as hell, the lesser of it I see, the better!

Thanks daniel

Hey dude I don't know what kid of output you are getting but you may want to mount the amp horizontally (flat) instead of vertically like it is. Reason being is that the circuit board with all its components is extremely heavy for its thickness. When you mount the amp vertically even though it has board mounting screws it puts a HUGE strain on the fet legs, coupled with the vibration it could cause a failure in one of the fets and pop the amp. I have seen this several times in heavy amps, just a thought. Nice install btw... Polo.

you should just make the amp/batt rack the rear seat.....that would be sweet IMO

lol it sits up too high. This truck sits pretty high, it's a 4x4.

The back seats when they were in already had passengers hitting the ceiling on bumps. Noway I could fit seating over the batt bank lol.

But it does kinda look like a seat.

Im thinking of something to do with that space...

install a 42" LCD that plays everything 100% reversed so U can watch the latest game in your rear-view mirror.

make a new amp rack about the same height as the cargo floor, then bolt the batt bank to the amp rack, and then bolt both to the floor. get some cushion and make both racks the new back seat (which would be lower than the stock rear seat I would imagine)

Yuh they're HDs.

I see what your saying theives but I don't believe theres enough room for comfortability then. My truck is a 2-door. I hated when passengers had to crawl to the back just to sit down, and then hear them complain about how cramped it is lol.

So now I eliminated that by denying more passengers.

And lol @ the LCD suggestion.

Maybe an air tank for some giant train horns or something lol

Nice install. I was going to say add a cover over the amp rack with a plexi window and add a neon (and fans for cooling somewhere). But with Polos suggestion of moving the amp (which sounds like a good idea) you wont get to see it like in the location you have it. An all plexi cover over the wood base would seem to be the best solution.
