Yea, Gustav got my hometown pretty good. I just got alot of rain here in Monroe though.

Hold on tight man...they are est. it to landfall as a Cat3.

The path is going right for me but I'm so far in I'll just see ran and maybe 65mph winds as they predict..

and scattered tornados as they also stated

yea, i heard people today talking about how its going to hit dallas... but doesnt look like theres much too worry about if we're so far in. I use to live in the Bahamas, and wow was that crazy when hurricanes hit.

A severe thunderstorm packs winds of 60mph +


If anything, power outages is the only thing to really worry about. I wouldn't suspect mass-blowing outs of windows or anything like that.


Once the system heads inland, it will most likely pick of speed and fly to the north east.


Hit Dallas? What does that mean exactly? Rain and 30mph winds for a day?... most likely. But if you wanna call that hitting... then sure

i live in the panhandle of fl and near my town on the coast its floodin like hell so it sucks people are freekin out about gas and what not its crazy
