Have any of you ever installed subs under the back seats of a full sized pick up?

I'm just curious how much room there is under there and what can be done to make more

washers under the bolts will lift them up. if you do dual under both seats MAYBE 2cuft prob more like 1.5cuft

I used to have a Brahma Mk2 10" under my 98 chevy's seat. Had to build out from the seat 2.5" on the drivers side to allow the motor to fit under the seat.

I got 1.6cuft tuned to ~35hz w/ a 4" port under there. Sounded dam nice on a JBL bp1200.1

here is one pic...this was before carpet.

you can always cut out the floor and build a fiberglass box under the vehicle just a thought though

i like the idea "washers under the bolts will lift them up" but is it even legal? i guess for a car that donot see the road its ok but for a daily driver. anyway i may try that in my honda van to be able to affix my amps under the seats. cool

that dully looks like garbage. if your worried about using washers under the seat to lift it you can always get longer bolts

dont put washers under the bolts thats going to give you minimal lift anyway take out the seats and brackets and either buy the kit or cut the brackets in half and weld some spacers in between. longer bolts is also a bad idea with washers unless you go with grade 8 bolts.
