I am starting a box for my friends 1500 chevy tonight. It is going to be a sealed box under the rear seat. What is the best position for the sub? Up, down, forward? Thanks guys!

question is install dependent, to many variables to give you a correct answer.

If you have the room I would recomend you have them forward but honestly any setup could be better than the next

BCS.. We've tried both upfiring and downfiring under ext cab seats... Down firing sounded better for us.. Also was a Chevy. Hope this helps bro!

EDIT: They were also sealed

I went and got this out of storage so you could see, I made it like 17 years ago for a 1991 Chevy Ex-Cab for 3 12" subs
