budget is low, so what would be a good choice, like $250 or less
would a massive audio p1000.1 be good?

I heard a DD M1a on 2 Fi SSD 12's and it was bangin hard and sound good. And the AQ1200D is a close match to the M1a from what Ive heard/read.

for a low budget check these out

http://cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=PPAM20001

and

http://cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=NVAM25001

the second one is roughly 1800wrms for like $219. tht website made a mistake and is charging too low of a price. ITs a great amp. I have personally seen it in action and know two authorized dealers who sell it for $450+

well, i need more power than the AQ1200D, both my FI's can handle 1000w rms apiece, that fusion amp that puts out 1800w rms for $220 seems to be a really good deal, i just need to know if it will be reliable and stuff like that...

You don't NEED the maximum power handling of the sub. Which by the way is 800w each for those.

And if that fusion amp has a current draw near 300 amps to produce 1800w it's efficiency must REALLY suck. I have an amp that does 3000w that draws less than 300 amps.

The word competetion is losely used these days.

And 1200RMS for those subs would be just fine.

i originally had a Hifonics 2006D running them, and it did really good pushing them. Would the AQ1200 with a second or third battery added be louder than wat it was with the Hifonics?
Also, with a stock charging system and with the big three done, is adding a second or third battery a good idea or not, i know a HO alt would do better but i dont have the money for one and a battery or two would be alot cheaper. and my subs can handle around 1000w rms apiece, or so i have been told cause they have flatwind coils

first of all who said that because an amp has a 300amp fuse that it had a 300amp current draw? its a comp amp..it puts out 1800wrms at a certain voltage. the more voltage you throw at it the more it puts out...just because u have no experience with an amp doesnt mean you have to talk some1 else out of it..

the 300 amp fuse is on the power wire, the amp itself does not have external fuses.

NV, do not go with a P series amp form Massive. I had soooo many issues with them and the warranty started becoming a pain through the company. Between me and another dealer we had ALL class a/b amps go out and over 20 P series mono blocks. I suggest look elsewhere.

As for the Fusion, I know back in the day the encounter series sucked and so did the powerplant IMO. The Jonah Lamu series was the only thing worth a crap. Not sure about the new ones though.

the encounter series still does suck, the powerplant is pretty good, and the NV is top notch... a lot of companies have bad lines for example lanzar. they have a lot of lines that suck but their opti line is top notch

blackblocs you are stupid as hell. no lanzar opti's are not good, average at best. so that powerplant sucks just as much as audiobahn or other lower line products. May work fine, may fail, may start a fire.

Thats all good for the 2000d. Have one of those for the 4000? Although you probably wouldn't care to post it being that the 4000d's efficiency is around 55%

I think the point is that amps shouldn't be judged on brand alone or even in some cases the line it is in. If that were not the case then we could all say memphis sucked because the memphis 4kw has problems will certain voltages.

apples and oranges kid... the memphis 4kw has a huge current draw yes and if powered on the low end may have issues.

whos to say that bench test sheet wasnt just made up??? I dont recall regulations for these tests...
