I'm new to the scene and I am wondering is there like a rule of thumb for tuning the frequencies from the amp to the sub for ultimate power and sound quality?

Low pass filters- are usually set between 70-100hz where your sub rolls off on the higher frequencies. This usually should be set where your speakers or midbass will cut off.

High pass/ subsonic/ infrasonic filters- are usually set where the sub cuts out on the lows, usually between 20-50hz depending on the sub or enclosure it is in.

What sub(s) do you have and do you know the box specs? What speakers or midbass (if any) do you have?

I have an 800 watt Lanzar 10 inches, the rest of my speakers are just upgraded from stock, 2 alpines in the door and 2 kenwoods in the back. Dunno how big the box is but you can get a good idea of my setup from the topic I posted in the head unit section here: https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/487754.html
