i have changed my mind,sorry to be so undecisive everybody.i plan on running six twelves in my truck with the existing amps i have(2 mtx 81001's)im happy with the wattage they put out(1862w at 1ohm rms per sub)but i do need some advice on which subs to use and the type of box and size i need. i've never ran rd subs but i've looked them up and everybody has good things to say.what about cerwin vega strokers?let me know.

What do you mean by "1862w at 1ohm rms per sub"

You would need one MTX 81001 per stroker to give them justice or it would be a waste of time.IMO

my amps drivin at 1 ohm delivers 1862 watts rms,and my budget is not an option.btw i am going for spl but i do want it to sound good also.so what do you think of the strokers?i want six twelves so if i need to get 4 more 81001's i will

strokers are overpriced paperweights anyways. do you have any electrical upgrades done to your car to even make it capable of pushing 3600 watts? you may want to address that before you get your subs.
