spl lose aaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

i have slowly been losing spl over the past 3-4 shows so i was like wtf. so i pull the rd elites out and to my dismay i checked the coil resis. i got 2.6 on the sub both sides opk i can deal with that then i check the other and it is 3.1 on one side and -.- on the other. so my guess is the one coil has been out for a while. i am not happy now. anyways they are still doing 149.1 with a bad coil. not to bad but a full db drop in the jeep. that is if the coil was good when it did a 150.1. still waiting for rd to get back to me. i will have to miss the 3x dbdrag event this weekend. i am pissed. this was supposed to be the debut of my 91 crx. which was doing low 15x.x

Sorry to hear that scott. However it's a minor setback, as it could have been alot worse.

But have you any idea what could have caused that?

Just hang in there, im sure it'll be rectified soon...

I really dont feel the coil was right on the one sub when you got it...I wish rd would consider that

yeah and like i said Rob...I dont think the one voice coil was right from the start on that sub

same stuff happenened when i had two cvr 15's off the mbquart except the coils on both subs were bad, so then it went from being wired to 1000 at 1 to 500 at 2, i thought my hearing was just getting worse
