90 amp alt in my car. i have all the mdf and everything so ill make an other box for waht ever i get i have 30 ft of 0 guage wire and terminals kinetik 800 battery, pretty much al the wire to do about anything the ) guage is the only thing ill be short on.
what can i do with 1200 bucks? i can go over on the money a little bit! its for golf but i can make about anything fit.
i might acually be able to go ahead and get my BLs, if u think 2 kinetik batterys and a 140 amp alt will power an audioque 2200
keep in mine i have a nine 2x amp already in for my door speakers
if it was me id try making the single 18 louder...either build your own boxes to figure out what works best or have pete from team toxic bass give you a box design for $50...and youll have alot of that 1200 bucks left
I would say you might want to go with a bigger alt if they make one bigger than 140 for your car. 2200 watts might be a little to much for 140 amp alt. JMO
"i am not paying 50 bucks for a design. i got 147 at my front dash. i thought that was pretty good. i am wanting to get over 150 on music"
When did you do the 147 db because not too long ago i saw you were at a 142 db on the dash...got pics of your car in the lane and that score on the meter...or a link to your name and score on the website the event was held...this is your single 18 right...or is this in a different car then when you did the 142 db
without testing to see what needs to be done to get the most out of a second sub like you have and double the power you have now...id say from my experience youll get a minimum of 2 db to 3 db
"i am not paying 50 bucks for a design" Amen to that. You can get someone to design it on here for free and you will get the results you want.
"2200 watts might be a little to much for 140 amp alt" Not exactly. If I can run 2000+ at .35 ohms on a 110amp alt, I'm sure he could do it on his 140 if he has a few wire updates plus that second battery.
ya i was getting 142 but i only had it wired for 1v... i was setting around and i just thought of it. i felt pretty stupid because i had it running at 1ohm voice coil for like 3 month.
then i got 147 but it was with a cheap meter that is prolly not 100% right. just what they have at the local audio shop
ya i know. but i was also thinking that if i spend all that extra money for something that is just 3 or 4 db more idk if its really worth it. cause after listening to something go from 142 to 146/ (147 one time) i really could not tell that big of a difference
