I wouldn't doubt it, chevys are a b1tch to install stuff in. I'm working on running wiring and new comps right now.

$175...
Is that w/ install?

We sell the Metra GMRC-01 harnesses for $89.95 here at the shop.

Kit, harness, antenna, and install (w/ warrantied labor) here would be ~$165-175

I needed it for my 06 Chevy impala too. If you want the door chimes and all the extras like on-star and such to work you need the kit. I would look at different shops or go buy the kit somewhere else

as was mentioned, yes u need the adapter if u don't get it it can screw up the cars ecu, from what i seen the voltage is touchy and all the main computers power is tied into the radio, without the adapter you screw up the voltage i herd and screw up ur cars vitals.
