Im thinking on geting an aq hd3 with their 1200wrms amp the total shipped is like 560 do you guys think this should be a deccent setup? any other suggestions would like to stay under 600 perfer 1 sub and under 1000wrms. thanks
well that is the amp they had is a little more than what i am looking for but for the price i figured i would buy it any way and just keep the gain down but would like to keep under 1200 wrms as a max like i said the price is good so thats why i was even conciering it
I built my friends system with a hd315 in a 4cuft tuned to 40hz on a kicker zx1000.1. It was decently loud for a single 15. Louder than my old setup which was 2 15 type r's in a sealed box, but not as clean. So to answer your question, yes I think its a decent setup with the ability to upgrade your amplifier to get more output from your subwoofer.
