your infinity amp is probably going to be putting out the same power as the hifonics your looking at. if your looking for SPL why dont you go with the L7's like someone reccomended or the SE's like i reccomnded sure the SE's are more SQL subs but trust me they are loud and you could probably do 2 12" on tht amp you have depending on VC config. and keep it to 1 thread bud i have seen like 6 threads on the same subject just letting u kn0ow bcuz i get flamed for making 2 threads youve made at least 3 and im sure someone is going to get on your case about it so you beteer relax and be patient.

Also look into a 12" or 15" BL from what i hear they can get LOUD

Dear Nick S,

You are homofying the name Nick by spamming your questions in other peoples threads and also creating multiple threads about the same topic. Please keep these things from happening again or change your name in order for the degrading of "Nick" to discontinue.

Thank you.
Nick V

To be on on topic, the Hifonics is budget quality. I have installed 3 of the 1206d and they are still running after a year. In comparison to other 1000rms amps, I would say it is putting out 900-1000 at 14v

Dear Nick S,

You are homofying the SX subwoofer by spamming your questions in other peoples threads and also creating multiple threads about the same topic. Please keep these things from happening again or choose another sub in order for the degrading of the "RE SX" to discontinue.

Thank you.
RayRay

To be on on topic, The SX sub gets just as loud as an L7 and pretty efficient and sounds alot nicer.

oh and ray dogg. L7 is louder than SX on 1000 watts. L7's are like what 750 rms? and Sx's are what? 1500? not even close to eachother. SX sounds better for sure but not louder unless you're throwing alot more at it. dd 3500>SX

actually bro your wrong a 15" L7 is 1000 rms a 15" RE SX is 1000 rms i've heard both on 600 watts and the SX was Louder i'm talking from experience bro and in my opinion SX>3500 in both SPL and SQ Chauncey would agree with me on this one ;)

i had my 2 12" perfects running on 1000 rms (500 each) in a 3.78 cube ported box tuned to 34.5 hz and they got pretty damn loud. loud enough to snap the casting of the ball and socket joint on my mirror!!! i wouldnt put down much more than 1000 on a pair, but they will probably take 1200.

"First off bud I'm homofying sh!t..watch your mouth... "

You are proving my point more. On a forum, I use my fingers, not my mouth.

"but dont act like your king sh!t bub"

I never did act like I was king sh!t "bub." You are just taking my helpful comment the wrong way.

yeah..ne wayz..so you think I should just feed them more power with that 1600 watt (1,000 in reality) to the kappas and then just put them in a ported box?

But I must warm you, you will want more power within a few months. Sh*t's addicting.
