What would be the better setup, with the right type of amp(amp suggestions would be nice? Which would be louder, and clearer? Ive heard JL's blow easily is this true?

I forgot to mention that they are all 10" subs, the pair of w6's and the w7
JL's don't blow easily, I don't know who told you that. If you're wanting the best sound quality, get a W7. If you want it louder, get two W6's. 500/1 will be good for a W7, two W6's will need closer to 800W RMS.

i would go with the 2 w6's and for the amp i would get a jbl bp1200.1 or look into hifonics.

i have 2 of the 10w7's and they do not blow easy i know that for sure ....i punish mine daily and they still sound like i just installed them if you do decide to go with the w7 i highly recomend a ported box with their spec'd port, these things really thrive on the extra air movement when ported also the 10w7 will reliably handle about 650 to 700 watts with NO PROBLEMS but if you would be willing to use 2 8w7's it would be just as loud if not louder as the 2 w6's with a lot better sound quality and fall very close to the same price range as the w6's
