How much do you have to spend, do you have a rough idea? Does it have to be new? and do you mind buying online?

yea, it would...and a good amp for the type r's would be that zx1000.1 he asked about, cause at 2 ohms its 1000rms (underrated)

sorry to butt in, but I'm also looking for an amp(or amp for each) 12" type r (x2)...would two A8000T's work, or is there anything better for around the same price...~$300 (tho i payed $170 for the 2 A8000T's). Just wondering if I should sell the audiobahn's and get new or if they would work. Thanks guys.

YT my friend has 2 12" type R's with an audiobahn A8000T pushing each one. all i can say is hold on to your hats those things are loud!!! NO BS either just because i sold you the amps.

but those amps will only pound the R's if they are 4 ohms so you can wire em to 2 ohms

only thing...somebody wanted to buy em off me for $250, and i only payed $170...worth it, then just buy new ones???

for two A8000T's would I have to upgrade my electrical at all? Alt/batt/big3? I just have stock 120 Amp alt, interstate batt and no big 3 right now.
