Dont laugh this is a serious question. I got a $100 gift certificate for a stereo shop in town and i need some speakers, i was thinking either kicker DS 5.25" or 4". Im going to hook them up to my kicker 100.2 if i put the filter on for only treble then i dont use the bass. my question is for treble will there be a difference in the 5 25 to the 4" as the tweeters are the same size. 5.25" are the maximum i can fit but the 4" are on blowout sale for like $49.99

Kicker speakers are not that good. Just buy some tweeters.

But to answer the question yes it would work.

Yes as long as the tweeters are the same. But again, you should just buy tweeters if thats what you need. Cheap coxial speakers and kicker in particular are not very good.

I'm not a big fan of ANY kicker speakers......... and why can't you just get tweeters???????? That would be ideal for what you're trying to do.
