ported = louder with less sq
sealed = quieter with more sq
generally speaking

NO....... that is a myth. Tune the ported box real low (~30 hz) and it will sound as good as the sealed, with more output.

Keep the port smooth, though. Round any edges, and clean up any glue that dribbles down. But, yeah, co-sign on going ported.

Some people have said ported sounds better, "more natural", btw. Ported will be more efficient, so you'll need less power.

Why CVRs for SQ?

I just thought 2 for 210 shipped was hard to beat, you have any suggestions for SQ subs? I wanna hit the lows more clean

Then you definetly want ported, tuned low if you want to have decent output on that low end.
