Well, we have been working on a sound room at the shop and its slow going.

Bout 30% done...lol.

Its small, but we only had so much room to work with. Its going to be simply, yet much better than the 'sound wall' we have now. So, here is a rough idea on how we may be doing in the interior.

There will prolly be a single 18" or 15" below the HU's. Amps on the side wall...some amps above the HU's. More mids/highs will be displayed than are shown in the pic.

All amps/mids/highs will be on detachable plates so we can change anything we need.

We are going w/ either an MTI Matrix or Intuition switching system. (Most likely the Intuition w/ touch-screen in the box between the HUs) The space behind the walls is for the switching boards, power supplies, batts, wires, etc.

The back part of the room is actually under the stair-well. Shelves in the back for are for sub boxes. Prolly going to display ~10-12 boxes.

Thats just a rough idea...It will prolly change as we start playing around more.

We are not sure what covering we are doing for the walls/floor/ceiling yet.

So, what do you think?

Oh...and we are not using drywall to close in the room. We used 1/2" MDF

Should hold the sound in pretty good :-)
