What Size Amp Do I Need? PLZ HELP

Hi im just wondering if anyone can advise me on what size amp to buy.

Im looking to Power 2 x JBL GTO935e 6" x 9"s:

And a JBL 1500w Subwoofer. Im not entirely sure about this product, although i believe it to be this product: http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=CS12/230&Language=ENG&C ountry=GB&Region=EUROPE&cat=SUB&ser=CSS

First of allalways measure in RMS watts peak/max means nothing



Get a 150 watt X 2 channel amp for the speakers.

And HU with preamp outputs will work.


And that sub you linked is not 1500 watt. Post what specific sub you have, and what coils are on it.

Based on the link that woofer is def not 1500w. If that is your woofer however try a 500w RMS amp at 2 ohm. May I suggest the P500.1 from Massive Audio :-) This would give you a little head room at around 200 watts RMS at 4 Ohm and will be great on your pocketbook. This would be a good woofer to use a A/B amplifer on as well since most bridge down to 4 ohm Mono- Assuming this woofer is single V.C. at 4 ohm-
