how good is the brutus,dont know anythang about hifonics amps,dont know anybody that got one,has it got good sound quality?or it for spl?for 240 dollars my eyes oppened up,i was looking at the ma but i seen ppl on here sayign there are rated at 17 volts so forget that,are hifonics overrated?wait just saw somethang would the Hifonics BXi 1606D be better,its 400 rms more for like 17 more dollars.i bet ya i couldnt run that big thang on a stock electrical system how big is the fuse for that 1600 rms one i know its 80 amps for the 1200 rms one

I have a BXi1606D and I love it...plays clean and is plenty loud for the inside of a truck.

and is it more of a spl amp or sq, i reazlize theres a possibility its over rated,but thats why im getting one rated at 400 watts rms more than i need

I think the amp is somewhere in between an SPL and an SQ amp...it has 2 80amp fuses if I remember right

i'd consider hifonics as good budget stuff, but is not great nor bad.


What are you trying to push?

gd 2 80 am fuses, 1200 rsm total. 2 se audio sx 12s rated 600 a piece,but need to keep the fuse rating down thats a lil high,i was gonna get the merlin md 1d from us amps but bank broke but i might just wait

eD NINe.1 is $275 b-stock. 130A max draw. also, Chauncey has one for $250 I think it was.

are the zeus series over rated? arent they better,i can get a good deal on one that does 500 rms x2 @ 2ohms

I have a Zues series running my comps...sounds pretty good to me...the 1606 has 2 80 amp fuses...not sure what the 1206 has...probably 2 60's.
