would two eclipse sw8200's be able to handle a power acoustik a3000db? and how should they be wired if so

dont buy power acoustic unless its super cheap they are WAY overatted

^thats what I'd be paying is it worth it^? and will it be too much for the sw8200's rated at 670 rms. Power acoustik is rated at 2300 at 1 ohm, but its probably overrated and the sw8200's are underrated im guessing

you could get that amp its up to you.. its rated at 1800 rms at 2 ohms because you would be using single 4 ohm coil subs but set the amp for the right voltage for 1300 watts using a dmm ....id double check the power claim and see what fuses it calls for

Hmmm thats weird, I never noticed that those subs were SVC. I assumed they were DVC because the sw7200's are and sw8200's are better.

Anyone know why its single? Is there some advantage?

nope no real advantage, just eclipse is stupid sometimes, but yes the 8200's should be able to handle that amp as long as the gain is set correctly, the 8200's should be able to handle 1000wrms no problem in a good box.
