well pit, ill give you a quick review bud

all mountains come from techtonic plates colliding. im gonna assume you know about techtonic plates. when these plates collide, depending on how they hit wether they slide by or collide straight on, mountains are formed. what you need would be two continental plaes which collide straight on. these plates will strart to either crumple upwards thus slowly creating a mountain or one mite slide underneath the other in a process called subduction. you cna also have mountains which will form under seas. a oceanic plate and a continental plate or a oceanic plate and another oceanix plate can hit each other which will have the same result of either one will slide underneath the other or they will crumple upwards creating a mountain. these sliding/colliding plates and the contributing factor to earthquakes. if it happens in the water it can create tsunamis. volcanos are created in the same fashion that the monutains are since they are basically the saem thing the volccano is just located over a hot shot wich magma under it. the ring of fire aka the pacific ocean from japan to cali is a nortoious for plate movement. cali san fran mainly is due for a huge earthquake which will absolutly devastate the city and anything around it.

this is just a quick 2 minute informal lesson. if you wanna get more into it, then i guess i can write you an essay on it lol

dammit pit lol. what the hell do they teach you in chicago? lol
ill give it to you like this pit, techtonic plates are very simple to understand. every single piece of land/water on this planet lay on plates. their are many plates, maybe around 50?? not sure on the exact number. but these plates move aroud on the liquid core of our earth. for example, india(the country) lays on its own plate. that plate ran into the plate which china and all those asia countries lay on. which those plates collided, it was a continent to continent collision. thus, these continents collided and forced upwards creating the himalayan mountains.

and paul, yea that was straight from the brain. love me some enviro science :-)

meant to mention in my days of highschool we were easily able to acces other sites via portal and bypass filters, firewalls whatever. so try to find a gateway portal to access E instead.
