just got a alpine type-r 1242 (seems like alota peple have recently got them too lol) anywho, im looking for a amp,
currently thinking maybe either the
Alpine MRD-M605
Alpine MRP-M650
what exacty is the diff between the two? both rated 600 rms @ 2 ohms?

if anyone has any recomendations for a amp my ears are open, budgets around the 300 dollar range, i have no problem spending more on a better quality amp, what ever you guys recomend
thanks

i ran mine on the infinity 1600a amp here.

and on a hifonics 1606d here

the infinity has been very good to me even other infinity's they make solid amps from what i've thrown at them.

ur best bet the infinity which is 600 rms at 2 ohm or the hifonics 1606 d or lastly a sundown amp is kick azz to. i think u can find all but the sundown here, i got my hifonics there to.

I just got finished with a fresh install and I'm running the HiFonics BXi1606....one nice amp...put together nicely and it kicks the crap out of the crossfire and the US Amps I had in the truck before...I think for the money the new BX series is going to be hard to beat.

This amp will be good it's 1200 watts at 2ohm for future system's but for the you got right now just set the gain right and you will be fine.

Cameron, just get the alpine you want, they're both good, might have a lil difference when it comes to price tag you know, they'll both work
