i have a 13w7 in a sealed box its all i was able to make at the time. Im using my 500/1 till i get enough cash for a new amp/box. when i try to configure the 500/1 and start messing with the gain i get a clippin sound after i start to turn the gain up from the lowset point. i have the amp set to run off high instead of low power. any help would be great.
switch the input sensitivity range to low, and adjust as needed. "high" is for an 8 volt line driver, which you probably don't have. "low" would be for the averave 2 to 4 volt line voltage.
JL has box designs for the W7 line on their site in the PDF files.. you could use those for a vented box if you wanted.
