I had an MTX amp hooked up to a 10" Infinity sub and I ran the sub volume at like -7 to -9.Well I hooked up a 4 channel amp and now I almost have to crank the sub volume all the way up.Why would this happen??
double check all your grounds that could make it hit a lot weaker and yeah make sure ur running the subs at the OHMS that the amp requires and and the OHMS the subs require other wise u can toast subs+amp easily
Ok the sub amp is 600 watts into 4 ohms.The 4 channel is a 50x4.When I did the install of the second amp I didnt do anything to the sub or the sub amp.Thats why Im confused.
