i have 2 12" infinity reference series subs in a sealed box which is 1.65 cu ft per side (as it has a devide in the middle) would i gain any SQ or SPL by having them in a ported or vented box? which set up would you use? (only registerd uses to respond, thanks)

You would gain SPL in a ported box. SQ would go down. Yeah they would be louder though
A vented box will only gain you SPL at certain frequencies. I would put them in a sealed box box because I just like the way they sound in those kind of boxes. If all you want is big loud bass and don't care about losing cargo space then put them in a vented box and bang away!
