I have 3 15" Kicker Comp VRs in 2 ohm, I was told buy the guy and other people they can be wired into 1 ohm, is that possiable? if so how can you do it because im trying to find an amp for it on the amp forum. Help me if you can thanks
Yeah, we need to know the VC config. But with 3 subs a 1.0 final impedence isn't possible. My guess is you have d4 subs and were told you could wire to 1.3 ohms.
the only way 3 subs can be wired to 1ohm is if they are dual 6ohm, single 3 ohm. or dual 1.5
i know there is at least 1 more way but i dont think any1 makes coils that low. if they are dual 4s 1.3 would be the impedence you would get but it would actually be a lil lower possibly at 1ohm or lower it would all depend on where the coil actually sat.
