First of all...I know this post should be in the multimedia section but it is not as active as this forum and i figured I could get some help quicker here. Hope you all dont mind.
I bought a alpine iva-w200 unit that had previously been installed. Now i am having problems figuring out how to install this into my car. There is a bypass installed already and that is confusing the wiring for me.
One side of the harness plugs into the deck. The other side is suppose to be connected to the factory wires ...but these wires are runn into the bypass....its a Universal Trigger Output module (peripheral ptr7). How do i wire this to the factory wires? which wires should i connect. Im lost. the are only a few lose wires not connected to anything. There is the thick black wire which i am assuming is the ground. A thick yellow wire which i think is the power wire. I am only assuming this bc its run through a alpine fuse holder thing...its grey. On the module itself..the brown and orange wires are not connected to anything...i think we dont even need to use them. but again i could be wrong.
The solution may be really simple...I just dont know what i am doing. Can someone help me .
If you haven't gotten a response by monday I can help because I'm puttin my w200 in then and I'll check it out... Hope you get help before then though.
