An amazing RMS number when you consider the actual impedance and the advertised wattage. That's also an extremely respectable amperage draw.

And I am not sure if feg Joe called Chad sexy, or the amps

1099 is the MSRP you can actually get it for between 800-1000 and if you take the time to read if you dropped that amp low and have the charging you could see 5kw out of it. Not a bad amp at all if I have to say so.

You drop that amp low and have the charging I would believe you can see 5k did you not see the 4270 at 1.38 ohms??? Try .5 ohms Chad even said himself in that thread that he believes it will be 5k.

thats a max number before protection and thats 17 volt set up i mean on regular set up you will never see 5k rms the adassa atomic d5000.1 and theothers will produce 5k rms at 12 volts and about 7000 on 16 volts for same price

If he has a 17 volt system and it drops to 14.5 it's because his amp sucked up most of the voltage.Think about it Joe.Any system will DROP lower than what it sits at with enough power.

i hate seeing reviews at higher then 14.5V... i prefer 13.5V ratings.....

^rob has a point, just because its at a higher voltage doesnt make the current pull go down really... if it did the amp wouldnt put out more power... so it just asks for the same current at the higher voltage... once it doesnt have enough current the voltage starts to drop

The 3000D is not suggested to be run on a stock system, Jacob states a seriously upgraded electrical system is needed. So levels above 14.4v makes sense in that respect.

You can get an Adessa for that price, but if the amp breaks, you will have to ship back overseas, and ask snoopdan how long he has been without an amp. I thought about carrying Adessa, but I don't like the long turn around for the customer if anything happens to the amp. As for Sundown pricing, shoot me an email and I'll help you guys out :-)

Ah ya, we love ya Rob haha. I just want to make sure these guys know what kind of headache it is to deal with Adessa warranty. until they can have warranty work done here in the US,I can't work with them myself. My peeps don't like to wait :-)

Very true Kevin and some people will argue that "Solid products don't need warranty..." but we all know things happen at times and sometimes it actually is a manufacturing defect and when these incidents occur those Sundown amps will be taken care of in a quick manner as opposed to shipping something overseas and then waiting for a long return.
