yeah i currently have the kenwood excelon kac 812d that puts out a little over 1000watts rms at 1 ohm... and it always overheats when i crank it... so im thinkin i need a little more than that... so im thinkin about selling it and gettin a db drive 1500.1 which will fit perfect since the havoc is 1500watts rms and is only 250$ on ebay and i bought mine for 340 at the audio store.... think i should buy this or stick with what i got or any better suggestions on amps.... im lookin to spend no more than lets say 350$$ help

Db Drive sux. tried it. If you want cheap try the Performance Technique 2500 watt. Not sure if it is 1 ohm stable or not, but I heard one on a set of L5's and it pushed them very hard. I think the amp is only like $200 on ebay.

it is an overrated amp. it will put out about 1500 watts. it was running two 15" L5's which equates to 1500 watts.
