If you got some upgrades for your bl look to get an amp that will go around 1500+

My bro has 1 2006 on his BL 12, it handles it fine. I even put one of my Memphis 4ks on his BL for a while, no problems until really cranking on it. I think with the options the BLs really come alive with more power.

The Q is a great SQ sub that gets very loud on music as well. If you are going for SPL then why not the 2 SSD 18s (and again I'd recommend the 2006d) Just throwing out some options.
