just a quick question for everyone, i'm just about ready to put in a second amp and i just wanted to know where i connect the remote leadt from. Do I run a second wire from the back of the HU or do i just connect it from the existing one.

I would say option 1 but i just want to make sure

Just run a wire from the REM terminal on the other amp to the REM terminal on the new amp.

If you were to install a lot of amplifiers such as in a competition car, you wouldn't be able to do that, it could burn the the HUs remote circuit. In that case you would have to use a relay activated by the REM wire to send +12 volts to all the amps REM.

But with 2 amplifiers it will be fine.

I just wire my remotes directly to the fuse box with another thing that turns on with the car rather than just the radio that could handle the power change....

3 should be ok, I was talking about comp cars where they have like 10+ amplifiers in there.
