Need amp help for an RE sub..

Hello im looking for a decnt amp that doesnt cost an arm and a leg to power a Resonant Engineering RE Audio SE 15 i would like to stay under $250 for the amp used or new..

You have a real nice sub...dont go cheap, save some money get a nice amp, do it right once, 250 is not going to get the job done.

how many watts does that sub take and what VC is it?

im actually thinking of getting a Hifonics Brutus 1606D the sub says its 1200 wrms but on other sites ot say things like 1000 wrms and ive also seen as low as 600 wrms the RE sight does not say what the rms rating is on the sub but what do you guys think of that amp...oh the sub is a duel 4 ohm

Hifonics amps only do about 80% of their rated power......


and you need power at 2 ohms

i wouldn't buy that brutus. Pick a kicker zx 1000.1 or jbl gto 1201.1 if you need 1200w rms.
