Hi all, just in need for a quick bit of advice.

I have 2 Alpine SWR 1241D Subs and an Alpine MRD M500 Class D Monoblock.

My question is, am i better off running just the 1 sub off the amp and at a later date buy another M500 and run the other off that?

or

Is it possible to run both off the one amp and still get good sound from them?

Also if im running just the one, how is it best to wire it in? 2ohm or 4ohm?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I would jsut run one at 2ohm unless the amp is 1ohm stable, if its 1ohm stable run them both at 1ohm.

Thank you for the quick reply.

The amp as far as i can see isnt 1ohm stable.

It runs as so:

500W RMS x 1 (2 ohms)
250W RMS x 1 (4 ohms)
