i've a friend who has 3 12 w6 and he scored 132Dbs with a BOOM STICK Competition Style Sound Level Meter by SCHOSCHE. I told him that thing is not precise, either he should hit higher or his setup is bad. He says i can't hit more than 125 dbs. That's no true i think.

What's the difference in quality of a termlab and that meter? Is the scoche precise or not?

most scoshe meters only read up to about 132-135 decibels... they aren't precise at all

the one on the epic 160 works well, you never know the accuracy of it but it is consistant with its readings. after amplifier and etc. upgrades i got a 3 db gain. the highest number i seen with it for 2 months was 147 and since monday ive been getting a solid 150 out of it, same songs, same subs...

i doubt im touching the 150s but i have no doubt i really gained 3 db. it sure feels like it... :-)

memphis ftw...
