Good amp or not for an L7

im thinkin about goin with the 15'' L7 and i wanted to power it with the mtx 8100 its a 1800w class d will it do the trick is all i want to know. i also want it to be a little to powerful incase i want to add another sub should i go with this amp??

no my bad i typed it wrong its the mtx tc8001 which is the 2400 watt but i thought that would be a lil to big to i lowered it to the tc6001 which is the 1800w

that's peak power tom. You need to look RMS ratings. First of all, is your sub DVC 4 ohm or DVC 2 ohm???

You need 1000w rms.

im goin with the d4 and i wana spend about what the sub and amp coasts ummmmmm which is like a lil under 5 i want the L7 i always wanted 1 but i want an amp the will push it and then some

oh ya and i dont wana spend the money on a box so im goin and gettin the 3/4 inch mdf ummm about how much cubic feet would i need to have and should i go with ported or sealed?

ask that in sub section. About an amp, if you're getting one L7 DVC 4 ohm grab a kicker zx 1000.1
