Gold Member Username: N2audioLawrence, Ks USA Post Number: 1260 Registered: Mar-04 | it's not a bad amp for the money, but 4000 not even in the vicinity of the actual power you'll get out of it. 4000 is just an arbitrary number the marketing dept thought would look good on the box. According to the manual it's 300x2 at 4 ohms and 450x2 at 2 ohms (900x1 bridged/mono). For ~$180 shipped it seems like a decent buy to me, but who knows how long it will last... <br> <br> If you truly want 4000w you're going to need about 5x the budget, and a giant alternator. |
