i'm lookin to get a pair of 15's wiht a combined rms of 1000 or less, i'm looking for straight spl, i'm sorta leaning towards 2 kicker cvr 15's, my budget it about 280 for both of em, u guys kno of any other cheap 15 tahts would get as loud as the cvrs??/ and what is the cheapest 1000 rms u think i could get that is stable at 1 ohm and that doesnt' draw a load of current

The Comp VRs would be fine. You could get some Audioque SD2 or Diamond D3. Otherwise for a little more you could get a couple DD 1515 or Mmats P2.

The SD2.5's have so much better build quality than the cvrs. The Audioques will blow the fu*king doors off of them.
