Right now I have stock system and no wires are ran yet.. I bought an amp a while back thinking I was going to use it for my mids n highs but now I think I'm just going to sell it. How can I make sure it works so I can sell it against DOA? Or is the only way to fully hook it up?
get like 2 feet of power wire and like 1' of speaker wire and a speaker. hook the 12v+ and - up on your car battery, use a little speaker wire to go from the 12v+ to the REM and hook up the speaker and use an ipod or cd player in the RCA input to make sure it works
Oh thats a great idea! Do I actually need to hook up the REM? I thought that is only for permanent instalation where as it will turn off and on as you turn the car off and on. If I'm only testing it for 5 minutes why do I need to hook it up?
If I do need it, you are saying I should hook up the REM straight from the power terminal? I wouldn't know, but that just sounds like a bad idea.
