Alpine type x

Hi i have a pontiac sunfire and i want a to get alot of bump from my system. i want to buy a alpine type x sub, will one be enough to get the amount of bass i want, the speaker is 1000rms and i would get a mono amp capable of that

for the price of the type x alot of people would say you can do better for the money...just wait for more people jump in on this thread

Alpine pdx 1.1000 a little pricy but it will put out 1000 watts rms follow this link...

type R's get louder. i wouldn't buy one of they're amps personally...

also, a lot of bump doesn't really specify how much bass will satisfy you lol

in the right box you can get alot of bass but i agree with goodie on this one...you can get alot better sub for the money. I would recommend a Audioque sd2.5 or hd3

600 bucks and alot of bump is like fellin it in ur body but not makin ur ears bleed

Take some measurements of your trunk. But i would say type R subs will get loud or the audioque SD2.5

But get some measurments and we can go from their

You can get a lot better than the Type X for the money.

get 1 15" type r and with the money left get a bad@ss amp for it.

or i could get 2 type r for about the same price but then i would have to get a larger amp to power them, also the rest of the speakers in my car are type x components and id like my system to match

its cool dude..you can pick up a pair of 12" type rs for like $215 and a nice strong amp for $400

believe me the type rs take WAYyyy more power..
im going to be running a orion 2500d (2500wrms) on 2 12" type r's.
i have heard of a orion 2500d on a SINGLE 15" type r..they are great subs

really icic ill have to see i guess i know i guy that has 2 type r still in the box and he doest want them, might be able to get them off himfor cheap
