B, from this forum had 2 15" TSX's i believe and was putting ~1500 watts to each and it got F*CKING LOUD. Not sure of #s he hit though. How much power you got? Box? |

USA Post Number: 4256 Registered: Sep-05 | THEY get very loud even underpowered....  but, yea, I ran them on 2500rms each, until 1 day, I just let her rip, for like 2 hrs, straight, without letting the voice coils cool. had a cab full of smoke after that... and some super stiff subs, as they cooled. they will be happy with 1krms each...  |

I remember it was a team with a suv, and 2 of the TSX 15s with 4 mtx 1500ds, like 3krms per 15. and they were doing over 150 easy. 2 15s TSX can do what you want them too.. lol |

New member Username: JtownPost Number: 7 Registered: Mar-07 | hey B, thanks alot. This is my idea for the setup. Just one 15" TSX, with a Hifonics BXi1206d pushing it. Sound good? Also, could you give me some ideas on a ported box? Or any sites that you know where I could find plans for that? I want to sub on top and the port facing the hatch of my blazer. Is it terribly bad to mount the amp on the box? |
