Silver Member Username: ImalikJackson, New Jersey Ocean Post Number: 131 Registered: May-06 | If there is a shop near you that rebuilds alternators you can have them rebuild yours, they can make your alt a H.O. alt... you can save a few $$$...check the price of a reg alt @ pep boys ect, ect, Then have that 1 rebuilt, the price may be better. |

Platinum Member Username: BestmankindKINETIKLos Angeles, CA Post Number: 10998 Registered: Oct-05 | it will work yanks. but when you start to turn your system up, your alt will work harder to keep up. you will definately shorten the life of your alt. i'd invest in something that will give you good voltage when your car is at idle. remember, your stock alt it design for a stock car. they didn't put that in there so you can have a big system. |
