oh ok. lol.

logan i made the box this size on purpose. i need to get as much out of my amps as possible. don't want too much box rise.

anyways the recomended for each driver is 3-5 cuft so it fits right in the required specs.

eric the box just fits in my car perfect. no room to be changing ports. lol.

i think i will be fine with this box. it will hit pretty low at the sametime giving me some spl.

i hope it works cause i am getting tired of building boxes and changing things around.

how much db can i loose man. i doubt i would lose a whole db. anyways i don't like the looks of a non-carpeted box. i'll sacrifice a little spl for a cleaner look.

Tell ya what, if it still works, it's a good tool. I have no less than 35 drills. Cordless and standard. The one I use the most? My two speed, 20 year old Black and Decker dinosaur. Why? I guess I'm kinda married to it.

that jig saw does work but it just takes too long. also i have to keep blowing the saw dust off cause i can't see the lines. besides all that it works well.

oh and also i have to wear gloves cause it gets real hot. i think its gonna die soon. lol.

Chad, very nice box but half an hour to cut the hole??? That's like longer than your last box lol. I don't know if you are going to be building any more boxes anytime soon but you need to buy a decent router and then buy a circle jig like a jasper 200 and get a couple quality carbide spiral upcut bits (throw material up and out as you are cutting to avoid bogging) like this:
http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/orderstatus/html/smarthtml/pages/bt_solid.html.

That's the system I have been using forever. Perfect circle every time, quick as sh!t.

yeah i need it. more box building to come.

what i really need is a table saw so i can get some perfect cuts.

thanks rovin. i don't think i will do the double baffle though. the brace should hold.

this box is kind of a trial. i trying to see if the subs and ports firing like that will gain some spl. if it works i am probably gonna give the design to phil to build. the box in the pic didn't come out to clean. lol.

i will have results with this box this sunday. hell if i hit 150 then ima just keep it. clean or not as long as it did the job.

i only spent $60 on the box. i used the resin left over from my last box. lol.
