i have the alpine-cda-9830 i believe but when i set my amp to 4v it doesn't hit at all. i cant even hear it its like stock crap. the only way it knocks is like at 1v with 8BB i checked the rca their still connected help please
Few questions, the HU says it has a 4V pre-out correct? That would be the output of the Headunit with all the eq. subwoofer, gain on the amp turned up. Read the manual if your not sre about the controls but i believe there is a subwoofer control that will turn that up on itself. If the HU isnt turned up like that the would explain why you have to turn the gain up so high, and really that shouldnt effect your sound much. It will just make your amp work a little harder thats all
