i was wondering if you hook up 2 subs each wired at 2 ohms to a mono amplifier, does the amp see a 2 or 4 ohm load? thanks.

Its a mono amp. Mono Means One, One channel. What ever you wire em at the amp will see a single load, wether its 1,2,4,8 ohms. It all depends on what way you wire your subs. If both subs are wired to 2 ohms, that what the amp sees.

if you wire them up each to 2 ohms assuming they are dual 4 ohms subs. You wire them parallel to a 2 ohm load and then into the amp you will get a 1 ohm load.
