is there a big difference between the Hifonics BX 2005D and the Hifonics BXI2006D

only thing i found on the two is the 2006 is 1ohm stable and the 2005 is 2ohm stable. 2006 says 2000w@1ohm and the 2005 says 1300w@2ohm.

not really the biggest fan of hifonics since they're overrated and i'd rather buy something of better quality, but that's what i'm thinking. 2006 probably newer than the 2005.

so is the BXI2006 worth the $100 extra dollars in anyones oppinion

Not in my opinion. For that extra $100 I would look for a little bit better brand than Hifonics, but hifonics are great budget amps.

If I were you I would check out the BX2200D because the hifonics are 80% efficient so the extra wattage will help.
