I have a kicker solo baric L5 15" dual 2 ohms. Which amp would you recommend and which is the newer model? Hifonics Brutus BX1500D or the HIFONICS BXi1206D. Thanks in advance
BX1500D is less expensive and a great amp. The BXi is the newer models but it is a completely different series. I have two BX1500D's and have no problems and put out lots of power and I am running them at 2 ohms each. I would go with the less expensive version because the difference is basically cosmetic or "looks" and the wattage to dollar ratio is better. "More bang for your buck" sort of speak. JMO
