Cover it where its needed most. if you can afford to put it all over your car then do so. I did mines on all my doors, and my cargo area. It helps with rattles and road noise.

Also if your on a budget get peal n stick/seal or get elemental designs edeadv1se^2.

use this link to get the edead for cheaper.

well. I won't say directly on the panels, but on metal.. so yeah. take off panel, apply on car chassis pretty much. thats what your asking right. and if so, yes. for me, I put 3 layers on each door and about 2 layers any other place I wanted to.

when you do, do it. clean the metal/car chassis with acetone or alcohol w/e, you can get it in home depot in the painting section. clean it real good then apply. Its a pain but worth it.

yeah, its not too bad, a little time consuming... peal and seal works very good for the price, it is at lowes in the roofing section. its not dynamat, but it works...

you can also get some edead v3. its the stuff you paint on. you can get to the parts that the mats can't get to.

just listen to all your rattles and pinpoint where they are coming from. you can then concentrate more on those parts.

don't get dynamat, to expensive. your buying the name mostly. Get edeadv1se^2. it reduces rattling/road noise depending if you do your whole car, wheel wells and such.
